time of your life

This past Sunday night/early Monday morning I finished watching BSG for the first time, almost two weeks after I began it! I am still filled with many thoughts and feels right now that I need to express. I'm glad I finished during a 3-day weekend so that I had time to finish watching and then have a day after to ~process~ it all, and explore fandom a bit...(all images from Tumblr):

Anyway, so while it wasn't perfect I still love this show overall and think it's one of the best I've ever seen, if not the best. ♥ NGL I want to watch it all over again already, and have begun the miniseries. I had already rewatched a number of Gaius and Six scenes, particularly pertaining to Hera, before I finished the end of s4. I wish I could show it to a new viewer...I also am going to at least give Caprica a chance, even though I hear it's not great.

+In other TV news, I seem to be unable to get out of "marathoning" mode so I've begun watching Revenge--which is also really good and addictive and tragic, though in a somewhat different way...

I also ended up rewatching some Supernatural season 1 with a different friend today (I've been trying to convert a bunch of friends this summer, lol)--it ended up being quite the epic SN-watching weekend, overall! :p

[Error: unknown template qotd]Oh TV couples--one of my favorite topics, and definitely a question that I remember coming up here before in these WB things....well of the three couples listed in the question, my favorite it definitely Chuck/Blair (the only one I have seen also, to be fair), though they are not my overall favorite TV couple (especially given all the crap the writers pull out at times).  I think I'll still stand by my previous answer, and say that Cordy/Angel from Angel is my all-time favorite TV couple, but there are a LOT of contenders.  For instance there's Arthur/Morgana from Merlin, the "duo" that I'm currently celebrating in my banner and default icon, Lily/Rufus (also from Gossip Girl), Booth/Brennan from Bones (in their best moments, I haven't been so happy with what the writers have been doing with them at times), and Mick/Beth from Moonlight (icon), whose greatness as a couple I have recently fully remembered thanks to my ML marathon last weekend--these two in particular are just so well-matched, and their interactions are two adorable and filled with chemistry.  I'm SO glad that the writers played it safe and gave them a happy ending in the season finale so that when it turned into the series finale thanks to CBS's immense suckage and idiocy the series ended on a good note (I would have wanted to kill the writers if they had ended things badly between M/B!)

I started both of these a while back (the Cordy/Angel one even longer back than the S/L one), though have only recently gotten around to finishing them and/or posting them--I've been having some issues especially with the posting part....

But here they are, my first completed S/L fanvid in the form of a fanart slideshow (my live action one is all but completed, but I just can't finish the last bit yet), and my fourth completed Cordy/Angel vid--as said in another recent entry, they are my fave TV couple after all....;)

While I'm still completely clueless about how to make fanart or icons, I did last year finally figure out how to make music fanvideos, which I thought I might as well pimp here! ;)
